WASHINGTON - Hillary Rodham Clinton suspended her pioneering campaign for the presidency on Saturday and summoned supporters to use "our energy, our passion, our strength" to put Barack Obama in the White House.

In suspending her campaign, Hillary Clinton gave her best speech since hitting the campaign trail. Had she filled her speeches with humility, compassion, and facts from day one and at 3AM, instead acting and speaking as if she were Queen Hillary speaking to her subjects, her last speech would have been an acceptance speech.

I took notice of Obama the moment Hillary refused to say ex-Governor Spitzer's proposed drivers license plan was the dumbest thing she'd ever heard, and I ran like hell to Obama on hearing her needless Bosnia lie. I hate that Clinton lost--not because she failed to give women even more power over me than they already have, if that is even possible. I hate it because I had bragged to my fellow Republicans that she was going to send McCain back to Arizona as Bill had sent old man Bush back to Texas, not to mention the fact that I had sent her enough cash to buy a gourmet dinner for two in Manhattan, and now I was eating crow in Ft. Lauderdale.
