Georgia's President Mikhail Saakashvili is a small-minded jackass who has allowed another small-minded jackass, George W. Bush, to use him as he used Tony Blair. Naturally the consequences have been death and destruction. The difference here is that, unlike Tony Blair who has walked away with nothing more than a verbal reprimand, Saakashvili, might just get his dumb ass hung, and not by the Russians, but by his own people.

Did this moron really believe that George W. Bush would actually come to his rescue if his plans to be a big bad politician went dreadfully wrong? It's more than likely that Saakashvili did believe this, and most likely had discussed his plans with Bush before invading his neighbor, unlike Tony Blair who knew exactly what the U.K. could expect from Bush if things didn't workout as planned and simply didn't care.

That just might be a premature summation of what lies ahead for Tony Blair. The wheels of justice turn very, very slowly, especially for politicians, but they do turn. It's still possible for Blair to end up like other tyrants have, and, if so, it'll happen when it's least expected. For that matter, Bush and Cheney might not have to wait until their god judges them either. You just never know, but one can remain optimistic about it happening. Still, none of my wishes for justice ever come true, but then I always wish for way too much. I'd not be satisfied with Bush and Cheney being beheaded. I've wished that everyone who voted for them, worked for them or had ever been within three feet of them to be rounded up and gently lowered into pits with them. And if they had anything at all to eat they'd have to resort to cannibalism. No way is that going to happen, but I can keep on wishing and accepting the few good things that do happen.

In June 2007, a guy who had voted for George W. Bush both times and took enormous pleasure in bragging about Bush's victories, saying God had told him to vote for Bush, the true Christian, and not the demons running against him, was in an accident that cost him both legs. After he had mentally recovered to some extent, I dropped by to see him. I told him that God had given me a message to give to him several weeks back but I had not wanted to do so. When he asked what God had said, I said, "Remember, you have asked me to tell you. God said to tell you that if you vote for Bush's surrogate, John McCain, he's going to rip off your arms like he did your legs."

Now, if you think that's cruel, you know how I feel about the million people this legless SOB help to murder. How he helped to disgrace my country's flag and devalue our dollar.
