WASHINGTON – (AP) The government is expected to take over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac as soon as this weekend in a monumental move designed to protect the mortgage market from the failure of the two companies, which together hold or guarantee half of the nation's mortgage debt, a person briefed on the matter said Friday night.

WASHINGTON – (AP) Regulators on Friday shut down Silver State Bank, saying the Nevada bank failed because of losses on soured loans, mainly in commercial real estate and land development. It was the 11th failure this year of a federally insured bank.

Just how many banks have the Bush family and their accomplices put into bankruptcy, I've lost count. I know that during the Reagan and Bush Sr. years over 3,000 failed. Still, the little bow legged, habitual lying Bush Jr. might have upstaged his old man in total monies lost with the taxpayers forced to takeover Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac's debts while the two CEOs split up 30 million between them this year alone. But then, what do I know? I'm not a Christian and the Bush family epitomizes the word Christian.

The facts are that Americans are mentally lazy and vote for their party, not for the candidate. Voters knowing that George W. Bush had lied about Iraq having WMD, and that he had been nothing but a non-stop liar, they reelected him. I believe that the very best thing that could happen would be for the lethargy, arrogant morons in this country, who consider a dead cell phone battery an emergency, to have to live through a 1929 type depression. They need to be able to relate to the heartaches they have caused worldwide in the last eight years. Then they might actually understand the words like family values, integrity, pro-life, and philanthropy that they now use like a used car salesman uses the words excellent condition, like new, and I'm losing money at that price.

It's just a personal opinion, but if you voted for Bush/Cheney in 2004, you're guilty of war crimes and torture, and you are less fit to salute the American flag or say the Pledge of Allegiance than Osama bin Laden. It's a fact that bin Laden could not do the damage to the image of the U.S. and the world economy in a hundred years that you've done in less than eight. And I'm a Republican, so you might not want to know just how insignificant of a value others put on your life. As one European put it on being quested about an American who slipped and fell to his death, "The Yank couldn't say enough about his President Bush. Now, he can't speak at all."
