"Mr. Meant-to has a friend, his name is Didn't-Do. Have you met them? They live together in a house called Never-Win. And I am told that it is haunted by the Ghost of Might-have-Been." -Marva Collins
The above has nothing to do with the subject of ghosts. I just thought it explained the lives of millions of people.
I've never been able to watch one of these ghost-hunting television shows in its entirety. The narrator is usually a celebrity or a wannbe celebrity. Having celebrity narrators somehow adds credibility to things like ghost hunters who never produce ghost and products and services offered by companies that need all the credibility they can get.
I've accepted the challenge to spend time alone in so-called haunted places (for money of course). What I found was…
1. Rodents
2. Lots of insects
3. An occasional snake
4. Ghost gadgets that live humans had rigged to frighten and/or promote the place as being haunted.
Like Jesus, ghosts only live in the minds of those who prepare a place for them. I do not doubt for a second that people have seen and heard from dead friends and family in their minds. My late wife told me where I could find her rings that were not on her fingers when I found her body. The dead only return when they are summoned by the subconscious mind. You think otherwise, fine; but I'll bet you $500.00 cash you cannot produce a ghost that I can see and hear. If you can, forget the $500; you can make millions.
